PLANNING A CEREMONY

PETER NORDEN, AO
MARRIAGE CELEBRANT

WHAT'S INVOLVED IN PLANNING A CEREMONY?

Given that your marriage day is the most important day of your life, it is important to undertake good preparation to make sure that the marriage ceremony itself is completed according to your requirements.

There are many civil celebrants to choose from and many have very limited experience at helping couples to celebrate their wedding in a dignified and fitting way.

During the months leading up to your marriage, you and your partner will have many things to attend to. The planning of the marriage ceremony is only one of those many tasks.

Peter understands that some couples like to spend a good deal of time planning the ceremony with the celebrant. Other couples are happy to meet with the celebrant and then to allow him to organise a draft proposal for the couple to approve, well in advance of the marriage day.

Peter is experienced at listening to the couple as they outline what expectations and hopes they have for the ceremony and then to proceed to complete the work himself in preparing the draft for the marriage ceremony.

It is good to complete this task some months before the ceremony itself so you can attend to other matters during the weeks leading up to your marriage day.

The marriage ceremony should be shaped according to your wishes and Peter will be able to help you make those decisions so that the ceremony is a highlight of your day.

Peter will take sufficient time with you and your partner in the preparation stage to make sure that your wishes are fulfilled.

Because Peter is in demand as a marriage celebrant, it is advisable to seek to confirm a date with him well in advance of your marriage day.
